An advertisement for a home in the HSR Layout neighborhood of Bengaluru has become popular since the owner requested a 25 lakh security deposit from the potential renter. The 5,915 square-foot property at Assetz 27 Park Avenue rents for 2.5 lakh per month. The monthly rent for a large 4BHK was not what shocked social media users because Bengaluru is known for its high cost of living; rather, the security deposit and a "get loan" option stole the show.
Tejashwi Shrivastava posted the screenshot and questioned why there isn't a "kidney donation" option.
To determine whether there had been a mistake with the zeroes, many social media users were at their wit's end. Many people believe the price is fair considering the 4 BHK property is virtually a bungalow. One user stated that one might purchase a property and begin making EMI payments for less than the security deposit.
Before renting something, a person must pay a security deposit to cover any potential costs for loss or damage. It must be paid simultaneously with the month's advance rent at the start of the agreement period. Accordingly, depending on if there is a reduction after discussion, a person will have to pay around 27.5 lakh for this 4BHK in the first month.Â
