Ayodhya's Pran-Pratishtha preparations are reviewed by the RSS head

The Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirath Kshetra Trust is making extensive preparations for the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony (idol consecration) to install Ram Lalla's idol in addition to finishing the Ram Mandir's construction by the deadline of December 31.

The enormous Ram temple in Ayodhya is almost finished.

Suresh Bhaiyyaji Joshi, a senior Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader, spent two days in Ayodhya to assess the state of the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony's preparations, which are scheduled to take place between January 15 and January 24 of the next year.

In preparation for the massive ritual, the RSS intends to hold "Nama Sankirtan" (chanting of the names and other sacred expressions associated with a certain god) and other events in almost five lakh temples across the nation.

After presiding over a number of sessions with representatives of the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirath Kshetra Trust, Joshi left Ayodhya early on Tuesday morning (July 25). The Pran-Pratishtha event will be organized by a managing committee that has been formed by the Trust.

Joshi engaged with the committee members and Trust members who were assigned duties connected to the ceremony during his two days at Karsevakpuram in Ayodhya. "During lengthy discussions that lasted several hours, Bhaiyyaji Joshi spoke with each managing committee member. The tasks given to each member were discussed, according to an RSS leader present at the meetings.

"How to reach out to temples across the country, including those in cities and villages, was discussed in the meeting," the RSS chief continued. He declared, "Events will begin at least ten days before Ram Lalla's Pran-Pratishtha."

Almost every city in the nation will have banners and posters advertising the Pran-Pratishtha celebration. In the nation, there are over 2.5 lahks (2,50,000) gram panchayats, and nearly every one of them has a temple.
