According to science minister Jitendra Singh, the success of India's Chandrayaan-3 moon mission is critical for both the country and the rest of the globe since important data from the project would benefit future space missions everywhere. On July 14 at 2.35 p.m., the Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) will launch Chandrayaan-3, India's third lunar mission, from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota.Â

Both the lander and the rover will be equipped with scientific payloads that will conduct lunar surface research.
