Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani's domestic box office earnings, which crossed 16 crore on the second day of its release, continue to skyrocket. According to Sacnilk.com, the movie has already brought in 27 crore.
Early estimates show that Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani made $16 million net on the second day of its release in India, according to Sacnilk.com. On the first day of its release, the movie brought in 11.10 crore. The movie has so far made 27.10 crore in home theaters.
On Saturday, Dharma Production posted on its social media accounts the movie's first-day box office revenues. "Day one, love at first sight! The box office is buzzing with your prem for their kahaani.Â
"Written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan, and Sumit Roy, RARKPK has some dialogue that is extremely lame and double meaning words and one-liners that seem forced," the Hindustan Times' review of the movie stated. We need something smarter than this, please, as Bollywood writers have had enough of trying to make people laugh by incorrectly pronouncing words like "inter-caste as intercourse" and "orgasm."
Additionally, it stated, "The constant preaching sessions appear ominous for the majority of the film. There is no shortage of messaging, which ranges from denouncing patriarchy to pointing out misogyny to thrusting feminism in our faces.
The movie was directed by Karan Johar seven years after his previous feature, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016). Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday both make cameo cameos in the movie. Ranveer Singh and Alia, the pair in the movie, come from quite different origins and cultures.
