On Monday, the crew and actors of the upcoming comedy flick Dream Girl 2 presented a brand-new image from the picture. The poster that revealed when the movie's teaser and trailer would be released featured Ananya Panday's debut appearance. The actor Ayushmann Khurrana published the image on Instagram on Monday with the caption, "This is Pari, my dream girl! Coming tomorrow: the trailer for Dream Girl 2.
Ayushmann is seen on the poster as his character Pooja. As he comes from behind a dazzling curtain, only his face is visible to the audience; Ananya can be seen glancing at Ayushmann's persona.
Pari, played by Ananya, was first introduced in the poster. The actor was stunning in his traditional outfit.
Fans swamped the comments area with red hearts and fire emoticons as soon as the creators showed the new poster. Shanaya Kapoor, an aspiring actor and Ananya's best friend, said, "Love it." A different person wrote, "Finally!! Pooja, I can't wait to see you.
On Monday, the film's creators will release the teaser, and on Tuesday, the main trailer will be released. The movie also stars Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Asrani, Manjot Singh, and Vijay Raaz in addition to Ayushmann and Ananya. The sequel to the hugely popular 2019 movie Dream Girl is titled Dream Girl 2. The first episode was a huge box-office success.
On August 25, Dream Girl 2 will be made available. It was initially scheduled to be released in July. The lengthy VFX work necessary for the movie is the cause of the delay.
Producer Ekta Kapoor discussed the choice in an earlier statement, saying, "We are taking additional time to perfect the VFX work for the face because we want Ayushmann Khurrana's character to look beautiful as Pooja in Dream Girl 2. We want to make sure that everyone who watches the movie has the best experience possible.
