Farrukhnagar university assistant shot dead

 


Prashant Malik, 30, was identified as the dead by Harinder Singh, assistant commissioner of police (Pataudi).

According to police, the incident happened at around 5:30 p.m., and Malik passed away immediately.

According to investigators, Malik was riding his motorcycle alongside a female coworker from the Farrukhnagar Engineering Institute when two suspects on another motorcycle stopped them on the main road close to Yakubpur. They claimed that when the coworker was frightened, the suspects let her flee.

According to the police, Malik also felt threatened and attempted to flee while abandoning his motorbike. The suspects, however, pursued him for more than 100 meters before shooting him three times in the chest and abdomen.

According to the police, Malik was brought to a medical facility in Farrukhnagar where doctors pronounced him dead.

The suspects have not yet been identified, according to Manbir Singh, deputy commissioner of police (Manesar).

"Raids are being conducted to find them. It is unclear what the precise motive for the murder was. To solve the case, numerous police units have been mobilized, the DCP continued.
