Ashok Gehlot, the chief minister of Rajasthan, said he would not be able to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi through a speech as the Prime Minister's Office removed his three-minute address from the program. PM Modi will be in election-bound Rajasthan on Thursday for various development projects. Gehlot tweeted, "I heartily welcome you to Rajasthan through this tweet," noting that PM Modi will be making his seventh trip to Rajasthan in the last six months. In response, the PMO denied the chief minister's assertion and insisted that Gehlot's ineligibility for participation had been announced by the CM's office.
Ashok Gehlot made a serious accusation, to which the Prime Minister's Office quickly responded, saying that Gehlot had been invited just as in all previous trips and that time had been set up for him to speak. "In keeping with protocol, you have received a proper invitation and a time slot for your address. The PMO stated, "However, your office stated that you will not be able to join.
"You're welcome to participate in today's program. Your name is prominently displayed on the plaque for the construction project as well. Your presence will be very appreciated, barring any physical discomfort brought to you by your recent injury, the PMO tweeted.
