In two separate incidents, two godowns took fire in Delhi on Friday night, causing the authorities to dispatch more than 25 fire tenders, according to officials.
They claimed that neither incidence resulted in a death.
The fire at a tent godown in Jaunapur, southwest of Delhi, was first reported to the fire department, according to officials, at around 5.20 p.m. Twelve firefighters were dispatched right away.
"The fire has been put out. No causality has been identified to date," an official later stated.
At about the same time, the Mayapuri Phase-1 godown near the Ram Mandir Wali Gali received a call reporting a second fire.
They said that sixteen fire tenders were dispatched right away to put out the fire.
