When Kriti Sanon discussed nepotism, she claimed that star kids had taken her place in films: Several times hath it occurred

In a previous interview, Kriti Sanon—who made her Bollywood debut in the 2014 movie Heropanti—discussed how being an outsider with no links to the film industry influenced her career. The actor, who turns 33 on July 27, told Pinkvilla that she had been replaced in films by star kids and discussed nepotism in the entertainment industry.

Since 2014, Kriti Sanon has appeared in several films, including Dilwale, Raabta, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Luka Chuppi, and Housefull 4. She most recently appeared in the Adipurush movie with Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan, which was released in June and drew criticism for its dialogue, clothes, and many other things.

Kriti had stated to Pinkvilla in 2020 when discussing her profession, "I'm incredibly ambitious and I know that I have the potential to do a lot more. I'd like to collaborate with specific A-list directors. I do have some fantastic possibilities, but when I compare them to others, there are a couple more that I would dearly love to have. The distinction is still present. I have no problem contacting directors. I wouldn't need to reach out to them if I had come from a movie family. They would already be familiar with me because I would have met them somewhere. But eventually, only your effort is heard. To sort of get there, it definitely requires a lot more successful films and performances over a longer period of time.

She continued, "I don't know if they dialed the phone or not, but someone, who was from a film family, or there was a little more buzz about that person, had replaced me. " She added, "I don't know if they dialed the phone or not. So, certainly, it has happened, but I am not aware of the cause. It's possible that the filmmaker actually desired that individual. There have been a few instances of it. It makes me feel awful and frustrates me a little. Beyond that, what else are you capable of? However, everyone experiences their fair share of accomplishments and failures. There is a reason why things occur or do not occur. Occasionally, when I didn't get a film I really wanted to do, it didn't turn out as good. So perhaps part of it was beneficial.
