Ashwini Vaishnaw, the Union Railway Minister, visited the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) and showcased the updated Vandhe Bharat trains.
The union minister told the media that the Vande Bharat train has received up to 25 modifications so far and that the Railway Ministry is incorporating all of the feedback they have been receiving from the field unit.
The Express train's new hue, which has been altered to orange and dark grey, could also be seen in the film.
Vaishnaw also examined the Chennai Central Railway Station earlier in the day. The union minister also discussed the reduced tariffs that are now available in all executive and air-conditioned classes on trains. According to Vaishnaw, these savings have been applied for a number of years and are not a recent development.Â
The cost of all executive classes and AC chair carriages will decrease by up to 25%, according to the Railway Ministry. Vande Bharat also participated in this fresh execution plan.
The union minister added that a train that would travel all the historic lines would soon be established. 'Heritage Special' is the name given to these trains. More of these trains would be added in the future, he noted.
This train's unique selling point is that a steam engine was used in the manufacturing process. The train will initially undergo extensive testing on lengthy heritage routes before becoming accessible to tourists in the upcoming month.
