Outrage over horrifying video of train massacres is sparked, and Congress declares that the genie of hate is out of the bottle

Massive online outrage has been sparked by a rumored video of a Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable who is accused of killing three Muslim passengers and his senior colleague in a moving train. Congress blames the situation on a "hyper-charged and highly polarized news media and social media atmosphere." Constable Chetan Singh (34), the defendant, is seen in the footage standing close to a victim's body.

Ravindra Shisve, commissioner of the Government Railway Police (GRP), informed the media that the video clip and other materials are being investigated.

After five in the morning, Singh used his automatic rifle to kill RPF Assistant Sub-Inspector Tika Ram Meena and another passenger in coach B5.

The deceased passengers were named as 48-year-old Asgar Abbas Sheikh of Madhubani, Bihar, 48-year-old Abdul Kadarbhai Mohammed Hussain Bhanpurwala of Nalasopara, Palghar, and one Sadar Mohammed Hussain.

Jairam Ramesh, general secretary of the Congress, said, "The hyper-charged and extremely polarized news media and social media milieu is to blame for the cold-blooded killings committed by an RPF constable. It will take a lot of effort from everyone to put the genie of hate back in the bottle now that it has escaped.

"The Bharat Jodo Yatra's message attempted to reduce the hate and violence that was being promoted as a result of the RSS's ideology and the BJP's tactics of prejudice and polarization. India's social fabric is being harmed by the top leadership of the country. He continued, "The vast majority of Indians will eventually reject this politics of retaliation and hatred.

The constable is a short-tempered guy who has mental health concerns, according to PC Sinha, Western Railway's inspector general/principal chief security commissioner, who made this claim earlier today.

"A #RPF jawan named Chetan Singh killed four people in the Jaipur-Mumbai train," RJD leader and Rajya Sabha member Manoj Kumar Jha remarked. Three of those who died were Muslims, and one belonged to a tribe.

Asaduddin Owaisi, the head of AIMIM, said on Twitter that the incident was a "terror attack" that deliberately targeted Muslims. It is the result of ongoing anti-Muslim hate rhetoric and @narendramodi's refusal to stop it. Will the alleged #RPFJawan run for office in the future? Will the government support his bail? When he is released, will he be decorated? I'm glad I was wrong about the #JaipurMumbaiExpress.
