Passengers are evacuated after a coach on the Bhopal-Delhi Vande Bharat Express catches fire

 


On Monday, a coach of the Bhopal-Delhi Vande Bharat Express caught fire as it was traveling through Bina, Madhya Pradesh.

At the Kuwaiti Kethora station in Bina, close to Bhopal, a fire started. All of the passengers safely disembarked from the train after it was stopped, and the fire was put out by the authorities. There were no alleged injuries in the incident.

Images taken at the scene showed the Vande Bharat Express being surrounded by passengers as the C-17 coach's battery box caught fire next to the wheels.

A coach's battery box on board Train 20171, which runs between Bhopal's Rani Kamalapati Station and Delhi's Nizamuddin Station, reported a fire. According to a West Central Railway official, smoke could be observed, and the train was stopped near Kurwai Kethora station.

All of the passengers are safe because the fire was put out by the fire department. There have been no injuries recorded. The electrical isolation of the battery box is currently taking place as the train departs for Delhi. It will be investigated," he stated of the battery compartment.
