A child was intimidated by a sub-inspector from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, who was caught on camera. Sub-Inspector Sheoraj Singh can be heard telling the boy in the video, "Main ek minute mein thok doonga yahi."Â
According to Piyush Singh, superintendent of police for the city, the event happened when a crew from the Cantonment Board was tearing down a building in the Cantt neighborhood.Â

The building's owner had provided the Cantonment Board with a no-objection certificate, but Singh claimed that during the destruction, some individuals who had previously lived there as tenants arrived and began throwing stones at the JCB.
Following the video's internet appearance, police declared they had opened an investigation.Â
