The BJP attributes the Hattee community's tribal classification to them

On Wednesday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) took credit for the House's passage of the long-awaited tribal status bill for the Hattee group.

Party spokespeople Mohindra Dharmani and Baldev Tomar lauded the efforts of numerous BJP leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister Amit Shah, and BJP national President Jagat Prakash Nadda, for their steadfast support in carrying out this historic decision. They also honored the painstaking efforts of BJP district Sirmaur leadership, MPs Suresh Kashyap and Virendra Kashyap, and Opposition leader Jairam Thakur, as well as Union minister Anurag Singh Thakur.

The Hattee community has fought for tribal designation for fifty years, according to BJP leaders. The citizens of Sirmaur were allegedly misled by the Congress party, which regularly made empty pledges to give the status prior to elections.

The new reservation status for the Hattee community, according to BJP leaders, won't have a negative impact on any other caste or class, they reaffirmed. Shah openly assured the crowd at a rally that the reservation would respect the rights of other communities in response to concerns.
