According to JP Nadda, head of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), 38 party leaders have officially confirmed their attendance at the meeting of the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) scheduled for Tuesday in the nation's capital. Nadda stated during a news conference that the 'good impact' of the Narendra Modi administration's programs and policies is the reason why the NDA members are optimistic.
The BJP national president claimed that "NDA's reach and scope have grown over the years."
Many current and new BJP allies will be present at the NDA meeting because the ruling party has been working nonstop over the past few weeks and months to forge new alliances and win back those who had left the ruling coalition.Â
Along with a number of other parties from the northeast states and other regions of the country, the gathering would also feature representatives from the AIADMK of Tamil Nadu and Pawan Kalyan's Jan Sena of Andhra Pradesh.
The BJP leadership has made practical adjustments to accommodate new allies while also seeking to weaken the opposition group in critical states like Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh as the party makes all-out attempts to retain its majority in the Lok Sabha for a third consecutive term.

On Monday, the Congress attacked the BJP, saying those who once talked about defeating the opposition parties alone are now trying to give the NDA, which had become a "ghost," new life. The Congress also claimed that the Opposition's unity would be "a game changer" for the Indian political landscape.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has suddenly remembered the NDA, according to Congress national secretary Jairam Ramesh, who was speaking at a press conference regarding the two days of key discussions with opposition parties beginning this evening.
"Efforts are being undertaken to give the NDA fresh life. NDA wasn't previously discussed, but in recent days, we have started to hear and read more about it. Suddenly, word spread that tomorrow's NDA meeting had been scheduled. So, Ramesh said, "attempts are now being made to give NDA, which had turned into a ghost, fresh life.
