With the opening of 13 medical institutions in one day, Uttar Pradesh will set a record

Inaugurating 13 medical institutes in one day, according to Uttar Pradesh's chief minister Yogi Adityanath, would soon set a new record.

Yogi Adityanath also stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will shortly lay the cornerstones for 27 new nursing colleges in various locations.

Before 2014, state government representatives would rush to Delhi only to be ignored; now, however, the chief minister added, Union ministers are visiting the states and asking how much money is needed for the implementation of projects.

Mansukh Mandaviya, the Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, and Adityanath discussed the development of the different health services that the federal and state governments have introduced.

According to Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh is making rapid progress towards its goal of building "one district, one medical" colleges.

Currently, he noted, government medical colleges are operational in 45 districts.

Mandaviya claimed that whereas Tamil Nadu had opened 11 medical schools in a single day, U.P. would set a new record by opening 13 schools simultaneously.

He claimed that funding had been approved for both a multi-super specialty hospital in Varanasi and a trauma clinic in Chandauli.

The chief minister claimed that after independence, there were just five government-run BSc nursing colleges in Uttar Pradesh. In 2021–2022, the number rose to seven, and in 2022–2023, 11 new government nursing colleges were founded.
