A 22-year-old man was fatally stabbed outside a mall in West Delhi

 


A 22-year-old man has died after being stabbed outside a shopping mall in the Rajouri Garden area of ​​West Delhi, police said on Wednesday. Police said the incident happened Tuesday night and the man died of his injuries Wednesday morning.

Mohammad Kaif, 22, got into an argument with a group of young people outside City Square Mall. The conflict escalates, leading to Kaif being brutally attacked and stabbed by Sohil, a resident of Raghubir Nagar, along with his accomplices.

Kaif was taken to the hospital but died during treatment. Police said Kaif suffered two stab wounds to his thigh, one of which severed a vital vein, resulting in his death.

Police have registered an attempted murder case against the attackers. Sohil, one of the main suspects, was located and arrested on Wednesday. However, the search for others involved is still ongoing.

A report by PTI news agency said both sides involved in the melee were intoxicated at the time of the incident. It seems that a small argument has escalated into a violent confrontation. The exact cause of the dispute is being determined.

Efforts are currently underway to identify and locate the remaining suspects.
