A man gets killed in Thane when his motorcycle collides with a metro pillar

 


An official reported that a 30-year-old man was killed when his motorcycle collided with a pillar on Ghodbunder Road in Thane, Maharashtra, on Monday morning.

The two-wheeler then allegedly caught fire.

According to Yasin Tadvi, the head of Thane Municipal Corporation's emergency management unit, authorities were informed about the accident at 5:30 a.m.

The man, who is from the Mira Road neighborhood, was riding his motorcycle on Ghodbunder Road toward Thane when it collided with a Metro line construction pillar. The official reported that he collapsed and passed away instantly.

The motorbike caught fire and was entirely burnt as a result of the impact of the collision, he claimed.

Local firefighters and the emergency management cell team members responded quickly to the alert and extinguished the fire, according to the official.

He stated that a postmortem was performed on the body at a government hospital.
