After an argument about money, a relative attacks a woman in Nallakunta



At her residence in Nallakunta city late on Monday night, D Anitha, 50, a senior assistant in the revenue department, was attacked by her distant relative Suresh, a driver. Anitha was cut in her throat and both hands by Suresh when he attacked her with a hacksaw blade.

Suresh was the subject of a murder attempt report filed by Nallakunta police, who also launched an inquiry. Anitha was taken to emergency medical care at a private hospital.

Police claim that Suresh lives in Chevella. He visited Anitha's home on Monday night. They got into a disagreement over money difficulties. He assaulted her with the hacksaw blade he had with him as the debate heated up.

Suresh escaped the scene as she fell over bleeding from her wounds. D Suresh, Anitha's husband and an advocate, reported the incident to the police. The victim is no longer at risk. According to Nallakunta SHO B Jagadishwar Rao, a special team has been sent out to locate Suresh, who is now evading capture.
