Ajit Pawar, the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra, was warmly welcomed while arriving in Pimpri-Chinchwad on Saturday. As soon as the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader arrived in the city, the crowd erupted in fervent support.
His supporters not only arrived in big numbers at the event in Pimpri, which is thought of as Ajit Pawar's stronghold but also went above and beyond in the preparations. Images obtained by India Today showed JCBs parked around the stage's center, where the NCP leader met throngs of people.
Ajit Pawar was decorated by a man who was hanging over a crane, which attracted the attention of many.
The man, an employee of NCP named Sunil Madane, hung from a crane to show his wish to adorn Ajit Pawar. It is stated that the employees first rejected the plan, but they eventually agreed to let him pull off the trick.
After receiving the former Baramati corporator Santosh Galinde's assent, arrangements were made.
Sunil Madane was dangling for over 45 minutes after being hanged by a rope with the aid of a crane at a height of roughly 50 to 60 feet. He could be seen waiting in the air for his boss with a smile on his face.
People who came to the function to congratulate Ajit Pawar on becoming the Maharashtra Deputy CM showed their support for the NCP leader in force.
Ajit Pawar made his first trip to Pimpri since he oversaw a vertical split within the NCP and took office as the state's deputy chief minister in July.
