Aarush Varma, who made his Bollywood debut with Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, and Yami Gautam in 'OMG 2', is full of praise for his co-stars. The actor plays Vivek, the son of Pankaj Tripathi in the movie. In an exclusive chat with IndiaToday., the 16-year-old actor talked about working with Akshay for the first time, the best compliment he's ever received, and also revealed why he's a god Pankaj statue.

"WATCH ME ON THE BIG SCREEN IS A SURPRISE EXPERIENCE"
'OMG 2' is Aarush Varma's first feature film. When asked about his experience in acting, the young actor replied, "My whole life I've been a movie buff, since I can talk and walk, I've been to the theater and watching movies at home. I just grew up in this environment. Now watching myself on the big screen is a surreal experience, it's overwhelming and I can't believe it. It's hard for me to handle even now."
"AKSHAY KUMAR CHOOSE ME FOR MY ROLE"
Directed by Amit Rai, released on August 11, has Akshay playing the role of Lord Shiva's messenger who guides Pankaj against the school authorities. Talking about working with Akshay, Aarush said, "The problem is, I didn't really meet Mr. Akshay until the last show. Even though I knew he was the one who picked me for my role, I only met him on the last show, for the last 2-3 weeks that I was filming. So to be honest, my whole interaction with him was very pleasant and he was very nice. He talked to me very kindly and tried to know my name. I haven't toured much with Mr. Akshay, but the number of times I've toured with him, it's been a very enjoyable and fun experience."
He added: "Akshay Sir hosted a dinner for the cast and crew and that's where he gave me the biggest compliment. He said to my parents, 'He's a spirit. the soul of the film, he is the heart of the movie, he did it well, and he deserves an international award for his work. It was one of the most special moments in his life. my life.
Aarush, who has been passionate about movies since he was a child, talked about his idol in the movie industry and only hoped to be like him. "My idol has always been Pankaj Tripathi. He has always been an inspiration to me because he is a Bihari like me and always has his example at home. Many actors go to film school where they learn 10 - 15 different skills but Pankaj sir is the one who has learned one technique and he is using it like a master. Also, he has acted in a lot of movies and the whole of India knows about him. But when you meet him, he is the most humble and grounded person ever wanted to meet When he met my parents, he clasped his hands and bowed to them, which made me feel very happy. when he was there.
Continuing to praise, Aarush said: “He has achieved a lot but he never forgets that point despite his difficulties. I even have a picture of me at the age of four watching Mr. Pankaj's movies, so I just want to say that no actor appeals to me more than Mr. Pankaj. He may be sharing frames with the biggest star in the business but my eyes will be on him."
