Chelsea confirm Reece James as club's new captain ahead of new Premier League season  


Chelsea has appointed academy graduate Reece James as their new captain following the summer departure of former captain Cesar Azpilicueta from Atletico Madrid. James, who has been with the Chelsea Academy since the age of six, is expected to lead the team in this new chapter.
