In the bustling heart of Abu Dhabi International Airport, the Priority Pass lounge is a haven for many travelers. However, a recent incident casts a shadow over this, highlighting the importance of maintaining politeness in public spaces.
Twitter user Hims shared the post and described how the man made his companions feel disgusted. The man, seemingly oblivious to basic etiquette, cheekily took a seat already occupied, despite being informed by his family that another was available.
"At the Priority Card lounge in Abu Dhabi, I got up to go have a drink. A countryman walked in, taking my place while my family told him it was taken and there were other places available. He then continued to talk loudly on the phone to someone, spilling food on the couch and carpet, occasionally clapping his hands to clear the food out,” the caption read.
The man's contempt for others does not stop there. He began to engage in a noisy phone conversation, his voice echoing throughout the living room, disrupting the peace. His words, mixed with financial jargon, suggest that he is an expert in the field of finance. However, his behavior is far from professional.
While chatting, he ate and drank without worrying about hygiene, spilling food on the sofa and carpet. Watching him splash food on his fingers and bang fork and cutlery for no reason was so upsetting. Users have shared several images of the man-made clutter in the living room.
This sight was not only seen by the family but also by other visitors in the living room. The children watched, faces etched with disgust, as they were confronted with a prime example of disrespect and lack of concern for others.
