For the successful arrival of Chandrayaan-3, Indians around the world pray

Indians all across the world have been praying in preparation for Wednesday's historic "soft landing" of Chandrayaan-3's Lander Module on the Moon's surface, which is slated for 6:04 p.m. On Wednesday morning, people of all faiths prayed in the hopes that India will reach a significant milestone in space exploration. If successful, India will be the first nation in history to make a lunar landing on the difficult south pole. Just 12 hours before the landing time, Russia's recent Luna-25 effort to accomplish the same thing failed.

People are engaging in unique rituals, prayers, and ceremonies from Rishikesh to the United States in an effort to obtain blessings for Chandrayaan-3's success. In India, religious rites of several faiths are held to ask for blessings for the landmark moon mission's success.

Across all Indian states, prayers

People from all across Madhya Pradesh gathered at the Shree Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain to participate in the 'Bhasma Aarti' event, which was held in celebration of Chandrayaan-3's successful landing on the south pole of the moon.

At Parmarth Niketan Ghat in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, a special ritual known as a "Ganga Aarti" honoring India's lunar mission was organized. Participants held the Indian flag while reciting the Aarti. In order to hope for the mission's success, devotees also performed a special devotion called "Havan Pujan" at the Ghat prior to this ritual.

People gathered in cities like Bhubaneswar, Varanasi, and Prayagraj to participate in the 'havan' rite and pray for Chandrayaan-3's safe landing.

Similar to this, individuals gathered to participate in an aarti, a customary ceremony including lights and prayers, at the Hanuman temple in Aliganj, Uttar Pradesh. This aarti was attended by a large number of worshippers who fervently prayed for Chandrayaan 3 to succeed.

Namaz, a type of Islamic prayer, was offered at the Islamic Centre of India in Lucknow in anticipation of Chandrayaan-3's successful landing.

Indian Americans in the United States are using spiritual rituals like 'havan' (fire rituals) and 'Abhishekam' to pray for the success of the Chandrayaan-3's moon landing.

To perform a "havan," members of the Indian diaspora met at a temple in Virginia, US. I've personally worked in the area of advanced materials that go into aerospace and defense for a very long time now, Madhu Ramamurthy, a visitor to the Virginia temple who is tied to aerospace and defense through her job, was reported by news agency ANI as saying. I am the owner of a Bangalore-based business that produces numerous defense-related components. By pure coincidence, we also produce a cloth with a very high strength that is used to reinforce and strengthen it.

In order to pray for the safe landing of the Chandrayaan-3, Indian researchers and students in Uxbridge, London, held a special prayer at the Adya Shakti Mataji Temple.
