Hostel at Allahabad University contains 30 homemade bombs & weapons

 


During a raid at the University of Allahabad's dormitories in Uttar Pradesh, the police discovered as many as 30 homemade bombs. Sadaqat Khan, one of the main suspects in the murder of Umesh Pal, was detained in this dormitory.

Two weapons and two live cartridges were also found in the room, in addition to the crude bombs, the police reported on Sunday.

On the basis of a complaint from a hostel tenant who had been assaulted by a group of people, the police opened an investigation a few days ago.

The individuals responsible for the attack were the subject of a police search. The police learned of a student who was keeping explosives hidden in his room at the same hostel while they were looking for the suspect.

When the police searched the room, they discovered bombs, weapons, and live ammunition.

A case has been opened by the police in connection with the finding of the illegal explosives, and one person has been taken into custody.
