Screenshot depicting a humorous exchange between a couple is currently gaining attention online. The image captures a conversation on Apple's iMessage service in which a wife asks her husband for a recurring monthly fee of $8 labeled "X Premium".
This subscription belongs to Elon Musk's corporate social media platform, formerly known as Twitter. The viral tweet, originally shared by American businessman Alex Cohen, has racked up a staggering 15 million views and amassed over 105,3,000 likes.
Mr Cohen attached the screenshot with a hilarious comment, saying: 'My wife just texted me, I'm sleeping on the couch tonight.' The text message recorded the husband's credit card payment request:
"Um, how much is 'X Premium' for $8/month on Chase Card?" The husband replied with "...how do I explain it?"
Meanwhile, Twitter has undergone a rebranding, named X under the ownership of Elon Musk. Musk took control of the platform in November 2022, leading to a series of changes, including a significant reduction in the company's workforce and the appointment of Linda Yaccarino as CEO. The rebranding marks the latest step in Musk's series of transformations as Twitter grapples with ongoing ad revenue challenges.
