In Uttar Pradesh, a mentally ill guy kills his parents; a relative claims he was a PUBG player

 

In the Jhansi area of Uttar Pradesh, a mentally ill man used a stick to beat his parents to death. The incident took place in the district's Nawabad Thana area's Gumnabar hamlet.

Ankit was healthy up until 2018 and had been training for a competition, but the accused claims that when he began playing PUBG, he began exhibiting symptoms of mental illness.

After the milkman arrived to their home in the morning, Lakshmi Prasad, the father of Ankit and a teacher at a government school, was discovered dead in a pool of blood. Vimal Devi, Lakshmi Prasad's wife, was taken to a hospital but passed away while receiving treatment due to her serious injuries. Locals then told the police about the occurrence.

"We learned that a person's body had been discovered and that his wife was in a serious state. According to senior police officer Rajesh, the son was imprisoned in a room.

Ankit confessed to killing his father with a stick and hurting his mother while being questioned.

Vivek Jha, a relative of Ankit, claimed that up until 2018, Ankit was totally healthy and was even getting ready for a competition. But his addiction to the PUBG game ultimately contributed to his mental condition.
