Man facing seven criminal cases stabbed to death in New Friends Colony of Delhi 

 


A man, facing seven criminal charges, was stabbed to death by a mob on Sunday night in the New Friends Colony (NFC) area of ​​Delhi. The victim, along with two of his friends, got into a fight with three other people when the incident happened near the Kohli Park area.

The deceased, 21-year-old Hritik, lived in the servant quarters of an NFC house. He was accompanied by two of his friends - 18-year-old Sonu and 19-year-old Prashant - who were also injured in the scuffle. Both are identified as residents of Tamiur Nagar. According to an online report, the trio were riding motorbikes from Khizrabad towards CV Raman Marg when an unidentified individual blocked their way. The man argued with Hritik and asked him why he hit the brother of one of the defendants.

Soon after, Shahrukh and two others, Shoaib (18) and Masoom (19) arrived at the scene. They attacked Hritik and his friends with knives and sticks.

Hritik was then admitted to Lion Hospital. He was then transferred to the AIIMS Trauma Center, where he was pronounced dead. He was found to have multiple wounds to his chest, neck, and abdomen, the report added.

A bloody baton was seized by the forensic team at the crime scene. A case has been filed in this regard under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and investigations are ongoing.

It should be noted that the victim has faced seven criminal cases, including one under the firearms law. Details are pending.
