NewsClick Controversy: Has China shifted propaganda from mobile apps to media?

The email exchanges were recovered by the Enforcement Branch during the search as part of a money laundering investigation against NewsClick.

It is alleged that the email exchanges were related to promoting Chinese propaganda about how they are fighting the pandemic, the relationship of Indian communists to China, and related conversation. to India and China maps.

Financial Exploration Agency reports that millionaire Neville Roy Singham, who is in China, illegally gave NewClick Rs 38 crore to sell pro-Chinese information in India.

Javed Anand, husband of activist Teesta Setelvad, who was released on bail for allegedly playing a role in tampering with evidence during the 2002 Gujarat riots, according to ED, was awarded Rs 12.16 lakh. Tamara, daughter of Teesta, is said to have received R. 10.93 lakh.
