Following the debut of its high-end Motorola Razr 40 series in India, Motorola has announced the launch of the Moto G84 5G. The new phone will be released on September 1 and offers 5G connectivity, as its name suggests. The three color options offered by Motorola, including Midnight Blue, Viva Magenta, and Marshmallow Blue, have also been made public. Dual cameras are housed inside two sizable cutouts on the back panel, while the selfie camera is tucked inside the hole-punched cutout. The Moto G84 has a 3.5mm audio jack because it is a smartphone intended for consumers at a tight price.
The 120Hz 6.5-inch pOLED display for the Moto G84 5G has also been made public by Motorola before of launch. On numerous smartphones, including its most recent Flip phone, Motorola has incorporated pOLED displays.Â
Additionally, the Moto G84 will include 12GB of RAM and internal storage that can be up to 256 GB. A 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS is part of the rear camera configuration. A secondary 8-megapixel sensor is also present. This indicates that Motorola is not including a depth sensor, as some of its Chinese competitors do. A macro vision camera can be used in conjunction with the ultra-wide camera.
The speakers on this Motorola phone can play Dolby Atmos music. Additional support is provided for "Moto Spatial sound." A 5,000mAh battery is there, and it uses 30W Turbopower charging. Additionally, Motorola will include a charger in the box.
Being a Motorola phone, the brand takes pride in its streamlined Android OS. Along with certain exclusive features and apps, the phone will also include Moto Connect. ThinkShield protection is available to guarantee users' online security. It is guaranteed that the phone will get Android 14 and three years' worth of security updates.
The cost of the smartphone and the manufacturer of the processor are yet unknown. The Moto G84 will likely cost less than Rs 20,000, as is typical for Motorola's G-series devices in India. The premium smartphone model could cost more than Rs 20,000. The Redmi Note 12 series from Xiaomi and the Realme 11 Pro series from Realme will be the competitors for the Moto G84.
