In Anni town, at least eight to nine substantial buildings fell, as seen in the film, close to a bus stop. Initial reports state that two banks were housed in one of the buildings that were destroyed in the landslip on Thursday.
"Unsettling images of a huge commercial building crumbling amidst a catastrophic landslip are seen in Anni, Kullu. The government successfully evacuated the building two days ago after identifying the risk, which is notable, the chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu tweeted.
On Thursday, a new landslip struck Anni in Himachal Pradesh's Kullu, causing a number of buildings to collapse.
Damage to the Kullu-Mandi Highway disconnected both, leaving several vehicles stuck on the road.
The worst-affected city in the Himachal rain, Shimla, received 190 mm of rain in the previous day.
The IMD has issued a red alert for the next two days for Himachal Pradesh due to the ongoing rain.
