The team led by Hardik Pandya lost the first T20I by 4 points and will now aim to come back in Game 2, which will be held at Providence Stadium in Georgetown on Sunday.
Team India arrived in Guyana before the second T20I and just before the match, the players of both teams went to dinner at the Indian High Commission in Guyana, Dr KJ Srinivasa.
BCCI went to their official Twitter account and posted photos of players from both teams congratulated by the High Commission of India.
“Dr. K.J. Srinivasa – High Commissioner for India – held #TeamIndia at High Commission of India in Guyana ahead of Monday T20I,” BCCI wrote on its Twitter account.
In these images, India's High Commissioner for Guyana can be seen enjoying his time with India's head coach Rahul Dravid, and players like captain Hardik Pandya and vice-captain Suryakumar Yadav.
The Indian cricket team rested before preparing for the second match. The team managed by Rovman Powell limited the Indian team to a meager 145/9 after beating first with a score of 149/6.
There are four games left in this series, so the team led by Hardik Pandya will aim to return and use the time in the West Indies to prepare for the upcoming T20 World Cup, to be held office next year.
