The Gurugram MP tells PM Modi there won't be any bloodshed if both sides had weapons

Rao Inderjit Singh, an MP for Gurugram and a minister of state for the union, met with Prime Minister Modi on Wednesday as Haryana experienced unprecedented tension as a result of a racial clash on July 31. Gurugram and other parts of Haryana were affected by the tension. Two home guards and four civilians were killed in the two-day violence that began in Nuh and Sohna and spread to Gurugram. 116 people have been detained as a result of the violence that began on Monday at a Hindu protest in Nuh. Muslims attacked the rally after videos that claimed cow vigilante Monu Manesar and his group would be there went viral. The VHP-Bajrang Dal also attacked a mosque in Gurugram as retribution. Although there were new instances of violence on Tuesday evening, prohibitive orders had been put in place to prevent the situation from getting worse. The Haryana government claimed that everything was under control in the state, but on Wednesday, the VHP-Bajrang Dal staged a rally in Delhi.

The minister denied having a conversation with PM Modi about the violence in Nuh, but he did go to invite PM Modi to the opening of the AIIMS in Haryana. Regarding his prior remark about who brings weapons to religious gatherings, the MP responded, "If both sides were carrying weapons, then it is an issue of the investigation as to who gave them those weapons. The government of Haryana will look at this.

While deputy chief minister Dushyant Chautala, who is from the BJP's ally JJP, blamed the rally's organizers for the tension on Tuesday, Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Tuesday attributed the violence to a plot. According to Dushyant, the tension was caused by the organizers' failure to offer complete information about the event and the anticipated turnout.

According to Dushyant, the people of Mewat, now called Nuh, have consistently sided with India and have battled against the Mughals as well as for independence.
