The UP administration has issued an order banning the use of drones near important places like the Gorakhnath Temple

The Gorakhpur government in Uttar Pradesh has forbidden drones from flying over specific areas, including the Gorakhnath Temple, without authorization, officials announced on Thursday.

According to them, the order, which was just issued by Additional District Magistrate Anjani Kumar Singh, would be applicable within the jurisdictions of the city's police stations and any breach would be viewed as a criminal offense.

According to the order, specific locations, such as the Gorakhnath Temple, the Hindustan Urvarak and Rasayan Ltd. fertilizer plant, AIIMS, the railroad station, and anywhere within two kilometers of the Mahayogi Gorakhnath University, including Gorakhnath Arogyadham Balapar Sonbarsa, cannot be flown over or around without prior consent from the city magistrate.

It stated that the request for authorization had to be made at least a week in advance of the intended drone operation.

The choice was made as a result of Monday's sighting of a drone close to the Gorakhnath temple.

Without permission, Mayank Baranwal of the Nathmalpur region used a drone to film the Gorakhnath Temple. Due to celebrations taking place in the district during the current Sawan month, police seized the drone and filed a complaint against him for breaching the prohibitions.
