UP female student filmed fellow inmates, shared videos with seniors to extort money 


A student at the Government College of Homeopathic Medicine in Gazipur, Uttar Pradesh, has been accused of taking offensive photos and videos of her residents.

The freshman, identified as Mantasha Kazmi, was accused of secretly filming fellow inmates at her dormitory and sending the video to her superior, Mohammad Amir, who was later accused of having blackmailed her. money students with photos and videos.

The case came to light on August 7 after the distressed students filed a formal complaint with the university administration and the local police.

Following the student's complaint, university management conducted an investigation confirming the allegations.

As a result, disciplinary action was taken against the accused students. Mantasha Kazmi and Mohammad Amir, who were BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery) students in their respective years, were suspended for a period of six months.

Dr BN Sahni, the university's acting rector, revealed details of the incident, saying the accused students had been suspended from school for six months. Sahni said all offensive images and videos were removed from the accused students' phones.

Meanwhile, Gazipur Police Chief Omveer Singh confirmed that a complaint has been filed, adding that they are taking the matter seriously and are currently conducting a full investigation.

However, he added that no obscene images or videos were recovered from the cell phones of the accused students, speculating that the cell phones may have been formatted.
