Woman accuses SpiceJet passenger of taking inappropriate photos of flight attendants

An elderly man took inappropriate photos of a flight attendant while on a SpiceJet flight to Mumbai. The case came to light after a vlogger posted a video on his social media account.

“On SpiceJet flight 157 (Delhi-Mumbai), our seats were A and B, and on C was an elderly man whose behavior was reprehensible. The man tried to record a video of a flight attendant's underwear while she was serving him," the blogger wrote.

The Vlogger said the inappropriate photos the man clicked were found on his phone. “After noticing when I notified the waiter, this person told me she felt like he clicked the picture. Then pictures of the flight attendant's feet, her panties, and even my video were found on her phone," the woman said.

The airline also confirmed the incident and said the passenger later deleted the photos from his phone and apologized for his actions.

An airline spokesperson said: "A female passenger sitting in the front row of SpiceJet flight SG157 operating from Delhi to Mumbai on 2 August was found clicking on a photo of the cabin crew, as she was sitting on the jump seat at the time of take-off.

"The passenger was confronted by the crew members. He deleted the photos from his phone and apologized for his gesture. The passenger has also issued a written apology," the statement read.
