A distressing video has surfaced from a gym in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, depicting a tragic incident in which a young man suffered a suspected heart attack while running on a treadmill. Regrettably, the 21-year-old man succumbed to the attack immediately. He was the sole child of his parents and a first-year student at an engineering college in Noida.
The deceased, who appeared to be a young adult, resided in Saraswati Vihar, and the incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Khoda Thana.
In the video footage obtained by India Today, the young man, dressed in a blue t-shirt, can be seen briefly pausing his exercise before collapsing on the treadmill. Within moments, two other individuals working out in the gym hurried to his side as he lay motionless on the exercise machine.
According to his friends, approximately 10 minutes before his heart failure, he had spoken to his mother on the phone and then returned to the gym. Tragically, just 10 minutes later, while using the treadmill, Siddharth suffered his collapse.
Upon examination by a doctor, it was determined that Siddharth had been brought to the hospital in an unresponsive state. An accompanying individual informed the medical staff that Siddharth had collapsed while running on the treadmill. According to the doctor, it appeared that Siddharth had experienced heart failure.
The CCTV footage of this incident has circulated widely on social media, prompting discussions and concerns about the importance of safety precautions during exercise routines.
This unfortunate incident is not an isolated occurrence in which an individual has passed away while engaging in physical activity. In November of the previous year, actor Siddharth Vir Surryavanshi, aged 46, collapsed at his gym, reportedly due to a heart attack. He was rushed to the hospital but was declared deceased upon arrival, despite efforts by medical professionals to revive him.
Furthermore, prior to that incident, the well-known comedian Raju Srivastava suffered a similar fate while exercising. He was on a treadmill when he experienced chest pain and collapsed. His trainer rushed him to AIIMS Delhi, where CPR was administered twice in an attempt to revive his heart. However, the comedian ultimately succumbed to a cardiac arrest while at the gym, despite the resuscitation efforts.
