A Sikh restaurant owner in the UK has reported an incident in which his cars were vandalized, allegedly by individuals supporting the Khalistan movement. He asserted that his family has been subjected to threats since May, primarily in response to a social media post in which he voiced criticism of the Khalistan movement.
During the night, red paint was splashed on the front of both of Harman Singh's cars, which were parked on his front lawn. He alleged that individuals sympathetic to Khalistan were responsible for this act.
Harman Singh informed India Today TV that when he went to the police the following morning to provide a statement, miscreants inflicted damage to his car's windscreen.
Describing the vandalism, he explained, "They gathered outside my residence and splashed red paint, symbolizing blood, as a threat. Subsequently, they vandalized my car's windscreen. Over the past eight months, I have been attacked on four occasions."
Harman Singh claimed that he had received thousands of death threats ever since he posted his anti-Khalistan social media content. He further mentioned that Khalistan supporters had sent rape threats to his wife and daughter.
"They even disclosed my children's school address. However, the police have not taken any action regarding these incidents," he remarked.
In May, Harman had uploaded a video on TikTok in which he expressed his criticism of the Khalistan movement.
Reflecting on that period, he told India Today TV, "After I posted the video, it received two million views within two days. However, I began receiving threats, with callers demanding that I take down the video or else they would harm me and my family. I was puzzled about who could threaten me like this since I am in the UK. Nevertheless, five individuals came and attacked my restaurant."
Months later, he continues to face harassment due to his video, maintaining that the local police have failed to take any action against the alleged attacks on his family.
