Former US President Donald Trump found himself surrounded by an enthusiastic crowd of his loyal supporters on a Wednesday evening during a visit to a local establishment in Bettendorf, Iowa. His purpose? Distributing pizzas to those who had gathered to catch a glimpse of him.
Kathy’s Treehouse Pub and Eatery was the venue that witnessed the assembly of more than a hundred people who had eagerly turned up to witness the former president in action. It was here that Trump embarked on a mini-signing session, autographing dollar bills, caps, and even the fabric of a tank top. Notably, he extended his autographing prowess to the arm of a female supporter, leaving a unique mark of his visit during this campaign trip to Iowa, as per reports from the news agency AP.
In the video footage capturing this momentous event, Trump can be seen engaging with the crowd, inquiring, "Who wants one?" as he distributed boxes brimming with delicious pizzas among the attendees.
Trump's presence was greeted with rapturous applause and cheers from his fervent supporters, who enthusiastically chanted his name and joined in singing Lee Greenwood's patriotic anthem, "God Bless the USA."
The former president has made a notable mark in Iowa this year, with seven visits to the state. These visits have been marked by his participation in various policy and political events, underscoring his continued engagement with his political base. In July, Trump even made a stop at his campaign office in the state. It is noteworthy that he has chosen to bypass significant multicandidate events hosted by influential social conservative groups in Iowa, despite the importance of this bloc in the caucuses.
