Following Nayanthara, here are 5 South Asian actresses we wish were paired with Shah Rukh Khan

Following the success of Atlee's 'Jawan', it has become evident that the lines between the Hindi film industry and the South are gradually blurring. Filmmakers are breaking barriers and setting new standards by featuring actors from both industries, creating opportunities that were once deemed impossible.

In 'Jawan', South star Nayanthara portrayed the character of Narmada Rai opposite Shah Rukh Khan's Azad. Their on-screen chemistry showcased that Shah Rukh Khan can have great chemistry with practically anyone.

Inspired by this, we would like to present a list of five South actresses whom we would love to see paired with the Badshaah of Bollywood.

The epitome of a happily-ever-after story is 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge', a film that set the bar for romance over 25 years ago. Shah Rukh Khan, as Raj, and Kajol, as Simran, left an indelible mark on the hearts of audiences.

In an alternate universe, we envision Paravthy Thiruvothu, known for her work in Tamil and Malayalam cinema, stepping into Simran's shoes. Her remarkable acting prowess would ensure that Kajol's absence is hardly felt.

Sai Pallavi would have been an ideal fit for Geeta in Ashutosh Gowariker's 'Swades'. Her portrayal of a strong-willed character in 'Fidaa' suggests that she could adeptly bring Geeta's character to life. Witnessing Mohan Bhargav (Shah Rukh Khan) fall for this reimagined Geeta would be a dream.

No one can forget Shah Rukh Khan's iconic dialogue, "I love you KKK...Kiran," from the film 'Darr'. While Juhi Chawla did exceptional work as Kiran, Shriya Saran, given her past performances, would also be a fitting choice to star alongside SRK's Raj.

In the sci-fi Hindi film 'Ra.One', Kareena Kapoor portrayed Sonia Subramanium, the wife of Shekhar Subramanium (SRK), and mother to their son, Prateek. Their unique bond plays a pivotal role in defeating the antagonist.

Aside from her damsel in distress roles, Trisha would be an excellent match for SRK in 'Ra.One', where he departs from his typical romantic roles to become G.One. The fresh dynamics between them would breathe new life into the film.

Rashmika's quirky and bubbly nature makes her a perfect candidate for the role of Kiara in 'Ra.One'. Paired with SRK's experienced psychiatrist character, their on-screen chemistry would be a delight to watch.

Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film 'Dunki' will see him alongside Taapsee Pannu, directed by Rajkumar Hirani.
