Terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, the leader of the banned pro-Khalistan group Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), has issued threats to Indo-Canadian Hindus, urging them to leave Canada and return to India. This development has occurred amid a significant diplomatic dispute between India and Canada.
In a widely circulated video, Pannun can be seen making the statement, "Indo-Canadian Hindus, you have repudiated your allegiance to Canada and the Canadian Constitution. Your destination is India. Leave Canada, go to India."
Pannun emphasized the loyalty of pro-Khalistan Sikhs to Canada, asserting that they have consistently supported the country, upheld its laws, and respected its Constitution.
This threat from Pannun comes just a day after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made a surprising accusation, suggesting a potential link between Indian government agents and the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Surrey in June.
In the recent video, Pannun also called on all Canadian Sikhs to gather in Vancouver on October 29 for a referendum to determine if the Indian High Commissioner, Verma, was responsible for Hardeep Singh Nijjar's death.
It's worth noting that Khalistani groups have previously organized referendums in Canada, a matter of concern that India has repeatedly raised with the Canadian government. Additionally, Khalistanis have openly threatened Indian diplomats and leaders.
Notably, over a week ago, Gurpatwant Singh Pannun issued threats against several top Indian leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, during a gathering in Canada. In a video statement, he mentioned organizing a Khalistan referendum in Canada on September 10 during the G20 summit in Delhi.
