Six males have been accused of molestation in Singapore, three of them of Indian descent

In Singapore, six individuals, including three of Indian origin, have faced charges related to separate molestation cases, as reported by the media on Friday.

The practice in Singaporean courts often involves consolidating multiple cases of a similar nature and framing charges against the individuals jointly to streamline legal proceedings and save time.

Among the Indian-origin individuals facing charges is Dheeraj Prem Khiatani, a 35-year-old medical doctor who also holds directorships in several firms, including Stark Medical Innovations. He has been charged with molesting a woman at the Marina Bay Sands hotel in Singapore on June 25. Following the court proceedings on Friday, his case has been adjourned to October 25.

Additionally, Hardiran Singh Randhawa, aged 29, faces charges related to the molestation of a 30-year-old woman. However, specific details regarding the location of the alleged incident have been withheld from court documents.

Furthermore, Melvinder Singh Gurmit Singh, aged 31, has been accused of two counts of molestation, which are alleged to have occurred in either 2012 or 2013.

In a separate case, Butt Muhammad Abdullah, of Pakistani origin, has been charged with molestation.

In addition to the individuals of Indian and Pakistani origin, charges have been brought against two Singaporeans of Chinese origin, namely Wang Shitao, aged 49, and Spencer Tan Peng Chua, aged 58.
