2 associates of Khalistani terrorist Arsh Dala were detained by Delhi Police

On Wednesday, the Delhi Police apprehended two associates of Arsh Dalla, a Canada-based Khalistani terrorist. These individuals were taken into custody in connection with the recent murder of a Congress leader and Sarpanch in Moga, Punjab. Arsh Dalla had claimed responsibility for the killing.

Kishan and Gurbinder, who had been evading authorities since the incident, were captured after a police encounter. The arrest was part of a broader operation conducted by the Delhi Police's Special Cell, focused on curbing organized crime and terrorism within the region. During their apprehension, the two individuals were found to be in possession of a hand grenade, a pistol, and five cartridges.

The murder of Baljinder Singh Balli, a local Congress leader, occurred on September 18 at his residence in Punjab's Moga district. Unidentified assailants had entered the leader's home and opened fire, with the incident captured on CCTV cameras outside Balli's residence. Baljinder Singh Balli served as the Congress block president in Ajitwal.

Arsh Dalla later took responsibility for the murder in a detailed Facebook post. In his statement, Dalla claimed that Baljinder Singh Balli had adversely affected his future and compelled him to become involved in gangster culture. He also alleged that the Congress leader was responsible for his mother's arrest by the police, which motivated him to seek revenge.

Arsh Dalla is a designated terrorist sought by the National Investigative Agency (NIA). He has operated from Canada for the past three to four years and has been linked to various acts of terrorist violence in Punjab.
