A chopper of the Indian Air Force lands for safety close to Bhopal


On Sunday, an Indian Air Force helicopter executed a precautionary landing in close proximity to Bhopal, situated within the state of Madhya Pradesh, as reported by Air Force sources.

Initial information indicates that the ALH Dhruv helicopter encountered a technical malfunction, necessitating the emergency landing. Fortunately, the crew members are safe, and a team of experts has been dispatched to address the technical issues.

The Indian Air Force released a statement stating, "One ALH MK III helicopter of the IAF, engaged in a routine training mission from Bhopal to Chakeri, conducted a secure precautionary landing approximately 50 kilometers from Bhopal Airport, near the Dungariya dam. No injuries or harm were reported. Technical assistance is being rendered to the helicopter."

At the time of the incident, six army personnel were aboard the helicopter. The emergency landing occurred in a village situated in Berasia, which is located about 60 kilometers from Bhopal.
