Delhi cop killed a coworker who pushed him toward marriage and was apprehended after two years

A head constable of the Delhi Police has been apprehended by the Crime Branch, following a two-year investigation into his alleged involvement in the murder of a woman constable. Her remains were discovered by the police after the passage of two years, based on evidence provided by the accused.

The woman constable had reportedly been applying pressure on the accused head constable to marry her, despite the fact that he was already married. The head constable has been identified as Surendra, while the woman constable's name was Ruchika.

Sources within the police have disclosed that the accused head constable frequently engaged the services of call girls in Delhi and took them to other cities. During one of these trips, he inadvertently left behind some documents that belonged to Ruchika.

As a result, the police initially believed that the woman constable, who had been reported missing, had chosen to leave of her own volition and had no intentions of returning to her family.
