In Kerala's Kottayam, an unfortunate incident transpired as a bus bound for Sabarimala, carrying 43 devoted passengers from Karnataka, veered off the road, resulting in injuries to 17 individuals.

This incident unfolded at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday in Erumeli. The bus, on its way to Sabarimala, was transporting a group of 43 fervent devotees, and sadly, it ended up overturning.

Upon receiving the distressing news, the local Erumeli Police swiftly arrived at the accident scene to provide assistance.

Out of the 17 individuals who suffered injuries during the accident, 15 of them were promptly transported to the Kanjirappaly Taluk Hospital for medical treatment, while the remaining two were transferred to the Kottayam Medical College.

Moreover, it is noteworthy that just this past Monday, a tragic incident occurred in the Kozhikode district where two individuals lost their lives when their two-wheeler became wedged between two privately owned transport buses in Chevayur. This calamity unfolded when a private bus collided with the two-wheeler from the rear, tragically leading to the untimely demise of the couple involved.
