PM's cleanliness campaign featuring a wrestler is described as having a Swachh, Swasth Bharat vibe

Prime Minister Narendra Modi actively engaged in the 'Swachhta Hi Seva' campaign on the eve of Gandhi Jayanti, joining wrestler Ankit Baiyanpuriya in this initiative.

The Prime Minister took to social media to share a video capturing their participation and tweeted, "Today, as the nation focuses on Swachhata, Ankit Baiyanpuriya and I did the same! Beyond just cleanliness, we blended fitness and well-being into the mix. It is all about that Swachh and Swasth Bharat vibe."

In the video, PM Modi engaged in a conversation with wrestler Ankit, delving into the latter's physical fitness routine.

PM Modi inquired, "How much time do you allocate for physical activity?"

Ankit responded, "Not much, sir, around 4-5 hours. I get so motivated when I see you that I exercise that much."

PM Modi candidly admitted, "I don't engage in extensive exercise, but I do follow a disciplined routine. Currently, I find two areas where I am lacking discipline - one is the timing of my meals, and the other is my need to allocate some time for sleep, which I am not able to do."

Prime Minister Modi also commended Ankit for his constructive use of social media platforms, noting, "You've set a perfect example of how social media can be used for positive purposes. I've observed that young people who previously frequented gyms are now following your fitness routines."

Furthermore, in a recent episode of his program 'Mann Ki Baat,' Modi issued an appeal for all citizens to engage in "one hour of shramdaan for swachhata" on October 1, framing it as a "Swachhanjali" (tribute) to Mahatma Gandhi on the occasion of his birth anniversary.

It's noteworthy that several Union ministers and BJP leaders across the country enthusiastically participated in various cleanliness drives on the same day.
