Terrorist Pannun from the Khalistan threatens India in a new video with a Hamas-like attack

A recent video featuring Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, a known Khalistani terrorist and the leader of the banned Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) organization based in the United States, has surfaced online. In this video, Pannun issues a warning to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, drawing a parallel with the Israel-Palestine conflict and suggesting that a similar "reaction" could occur in India.

Pannun, who heads the SFJ, emphasizes that people living under what he considers "illegal occupation" from Punjab to Palestine are likely to react, as violence often leads to further violence. He specifically mentions that if India continues to maintain what he views as an "occupation" of Punjab, there will be consequences, and he holds India and PM Modi accountable for any such outcome.

In the video, Pannun asserts that the SFJ is committed to peaceful means, advocating for change through democratic processes such as ballots and votes. Nevertheless, he ominously states that the "liberation of Punjab is on the cards" and leaves the choice between peaceful resolutions and violent actions to India, accompanied by a gesture simulating a gunshot toward the camera.

This message from Pannun follows the recent filing of a First Information Report (FIR) against him for issuing threats and inciting hostility in connection with the scheduled India-Pakistan ICC World Cup 2023 match in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Pre-recorded threatening messages attributed to him were disseminated on various social media platforms. The Cyber Crime Deputy Commissioner of Ahmedabad, Ajit Rajian, confirmed these developments.

Furthermore, Pannun's message alludes to the SFJ seeking "revenge" for the killing of terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijar in Canada.

Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, born in Amritsar, has been under the scrutiny of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) since 2019 when the agency initiated its first case against him. He stands accused of actively promoting and orchestrating acts of terrorism, as well as spreading fear and terror through threats and intimidation in Punjab and other parts of India.

The Special NIA Court issued non-bailable arrest warrants against Pannun on February 3, 2021, and he was declared a "Proclaimed Offender" (PO) on November 29 of the same year.
