A car in Jammu and Kashmir falls into a gorge, killing four tourists and injuring two more

Tragedy struck as four individuals hailing from Kerala lost their lives, and two others sustained injuries in a vehicular mishap on Zojila Pass in central Kashmir's Ganderbal district. The unfortunate incident occurred when the vehicle, en route to Sonamarg, skidded off the road, tumbling into a deep gorge on Zojila Pass.

Officials reported that all the injured parties received prompt medical attention, with one critically injured person subsequently being transferred to SKIMS Soura for advanced treatment. This regrettable incident comes on the heels of a similar occurrence last month in the Katra belt of Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district, where a vehicle carrying pilgrims returning from the cave shrine of Mata Vaishnodevi skidded off the road, resulting in the tragic death of a seven-year-old child and injuries to three others.
