On Tuesday in Jaipur, Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, the president of Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena, fell victim to an unfortunate incident, losing his life as a result of a fatal shooting perpetrated by unidentified assailants. This distressing event transpired within the confines of his residence, where Gogamedi was targeted and subsequently shot by the assailants who hastily fled the scene. The entire episode was captured on closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras, providing a visual record of the tragic incident.
In the aftermath of this heinous act, a notorious figure, gangster Rohit Godara, affiliated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, took to Facebook to claim responsibility for Gogamedi's murder. The accompanying video footage depicts two individuals discharging multiple rounds at Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, while another individual, positioned at the doorway, also becomes a victim of the gunfire. The graphic footage portrays Gogamedi succumbing to his injuries as he collapses on the floor.
Despite prompt medical intervention and transportation to a hospital, Gogamedi could not overcome the severity of his injuries, leading to his tragic demise. Ajit Singh, who was present with Gogamedi during the incident, sustained serious injuries, according to statements from officials.
Offering insights into the initial details of the incident, Rajasthan Director General of Police (DGP) Umesh Mishra informed the press that four individuals entered the residence where Gogamedi was located and proceeded to open fire, resulting in injuries to one of Gogamedi's security personnel and another individual.
